What are the Central European Fees? What are Non-CE Fees?

Modified on Wed, 4 Jun at 8:56 AM

Central European (CE) Fees:

These are the standard fulfillment fees for sellers participating in the Central Europe Program (CEP). By storing inventory in Germany, Poland, or the Czech Republic, sellers benefit from lower fees for orders fulfilled from these locations. For example:

  • Light Envelope (≤ 20g): €1.61 (CEP rate) vs. €1.87 (DE-only rate).

  • Standard Parcel (≤ 150g): €3.12 (CEP rate) vs. €3.38 (DE-only rate).

Non-Central European (Non-CE) Fees:

These are the fees applied to sellers who do not participate in CEP and store inventory exclusively in Germany. These fees are higher due to the lack of distribution across Central Europe. For example:

  • Light Envelope (≤ 20g): €1.87 (DE-only rate).

  • Standard Parcel (≤ 150g): €3.38 (DE-only rate).

Key Differences:

  1. Participation in CEP: Sellers who opt into CEP pay lower fulfillment fees compared to those who store inventory only in Germany.

  2. Additional Surcharge: Non-CEP sellers are charged an extra £0.26, €0.26, SEK 2.50, or PLN 1.15 per unit shipped from German fulfillment centers.
