Avoid Costly FBA Restrictions with AZInsight’s Meltable ASIN Alerts

Modified on Mon, 2 Mar at 8:55 AM

Managing inventory during seasonal restrictions can be tricky, especially when dealing with meltable products. To help you stay compliant and avoid costly fulfillment rejections, AZInsight now provides proactive in-platform alerts when you view a restricted ASIN.

What Are Meltable Products?
Amazon classifies certain products as “meltable”—items like chocolate, candles, and heat-sensitive materials that can degrade in warm temperatures. To protect customer experience, Amazon only accepts meltable inventory into fulfillment centers between October 16 and April 30.

How AZInsight Helps You Avoid Losses
Instead of manually cross-referencing your catalog with Amazon’s restricted list, AZInsight does the work for you. When you view an ASIN flagged as meltable outside the allowable window, a warning banner will appear directly on the ASIN page within AZInsight.

This real-time alert helps you:

  • Prevent Shipment Rejections: Avoid sending meltable inventory during off-window months.

  • Save on Storage & Returns: Ensure products aren’t stuck in unsellable conditions or returned at your expense.

  • Plan Smarter: Time your shipments to align with Amazon’s acceptance windows.

Where Does This Data Come From?
These alerts are powered by Amazon’s official classification. Amazon maintains and publishes a public list of meltable ASINs in Seller Central. AZInsight integrates this data so you don’t have to search for it.

For more details on meltable inventory policies, visit the official Amazon Seller Central page.

Stay compliant, protect your margins, and let AZInsight keep your FBA strategy on track.
